Strictly’s Nadiya Bychkova has revealed she is “not friends” with Kai Widdrington following the couple’s split in July.
The dancers reportedly ended their two-year romance after “driving emotionally apart from each other,” with sources claiming the pressures of touring together took a toll on their relationship.
talking to The mirror At Monday’s Pride Of Britain awards, Nadiya, 35, revealed that she and Kai, 29, are still working on Strictly and will always keep things professional when dancing together.
When asked if she and Kai are still friends, Nadiya said: “We work together but we’re not friends and that’s okay.”
“One thing I can tell you is that when you see me dance with him it will be amazing because I am a professional.”

Speaking at Monday’s Pride Of Britain Awards, Nadiya revealed that she and Kai are still working on Strictly and will always keep things professional when dancing together.
Nadiya also reflected on her early exit from this year’s Strictly after she and Olympian Tom Dean were the first couple to be eliminated from the show.
He added: “It’s never nice to leave early.” Tom and I have had a lot of support from people and I get the feeling that viewers wanted to see what I was capable of and so did I. Someone had to go and it’s a shame it was Tom.’
“But we are going to continue dancing. I am going to teach you a salsa with great elevations. Not for television, just so you can see that it can be brilliant.
In July, MailOnline confirmed that Nadiya and Kai, who compete in the BBC soap, split in June, at the end of their lucrative Behind the Magic tour.
It has now been reported that the couple were battling off-stage issues during their tour, and the pressure of being in each other’s space 24/7 finally “took its toll” on their relationship.
A friend of Kai and Nadiya told The Sun: “It’s heartbreaking. Kai and Nadiya seemed like the most perfect couple and have been so, so happily in love.
“But the pressures of touring, being in each other’s space 24/7, and the stress of performing a sold-out show eventually took their toll.
“They had been drifting emotionally for a while, and things came to a head during the tour – ironically called Behind The Magic – which was obviously incredibly problematic.”
While gracing the red carpet, Nadiya channeled Elsa from Frozen as she arrived in a stunning silver dress.
The eye-catching dress featured sequin details, a ruffled skirt and a long, sheer train.
She wore her blonde locks curled and up, while sporting bright bronze makeup.
Nadiya sported a pair of dangling silver earrings and carried a small matching dazzling bag as she posed up a storm.
Kai and Nadiya made the mutual decision to call it quits “after a difficult few weeks” once their tour ended, the source added.

Before the ceremony, the King and Prime Minister Keir Starmer led tributes to the nation’s unsung heroes.
The King called them “the best” of us, while Sir Keir said: “They embody all that is good about Britain.”
King Charles’ words were included in a letter addressed to King’s Trust Young Achiever winner Molly Leonard, whose grandmother shed tears of pride as it was read to her.
As well as praising Molly, he wrote: ‘On this 25th anniversary of the Pride of Britain Awards, I send my warmest admiration to all of this year’s winners. Each of you represents the best of our society.
Nadiya is no longer in the current competition after she was ejected with fellow swimmer Tom Dean.
