Strictly’s Gorka Marquez has revealed she asked her celebrity partner Dr Punam Krishnan for advice on how not to get irritated in her PVC pants on Saturday night.
BBC viewers were left steaming hot on Saturday’s live show when Gorka sported daring pants and a sheer top for his and Punam’s foxtrot.
But it seems the Spanish dancer, 34, was worried about his tight bum before the routine, and turned to his fellow doctor for advice on the best way to avoid irritation.
Appearing on Strictly It Takes Two on Thursday, Punam said: “We were about to go to the couples announcement and he said, ‘What should I wear?’ I put on powder, I put on cream, so did you put on Sudocrem?” And I said: “Not now, Gorka, not now!”.
Host Janette Manrara chimed in to say she should have asked Dr. Punam because she was “a woman,” Gorka interrupted to confirm it was because she was a doctor.

“He says, ‘What irritates me the least?'” Punam added of their exchange, explaining that he said, “Just dance, will you!”
During It Takes Two, Gorka said of his pants: “I couldn’t look at myself in those pants, so tight!”
He then told Janette a phrase he remembered in Spanish, which she confirmed meant: “Stronger than the nails on a submarine.”
Before even setting foot on the dance floor, the professional dancer left his fans swooning as he modeled tight PVC pants and a see-through blouse while walking down the stairs with Punam..
But while some were excited about the balls to come, others were more interested in what the fiery Spaniard was wearing and were, in fact, very impressed.
On X, formerly Twitter, fans were quick to share their appreciation for Gorka’s outfit.
They wrote: ‘My God. I can’t take my eyes off Gorka when he appears on the screen’; ‘Ohhh Gorka!’; ‘I can’t stop thinking about Gorka’s PVC pants’;

And while the TV doctor channeled the country singer in a top hat and tuxedo-style dress, Gorka wowed fans by adding a pair of dark sunglasses to his bold look.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, fans were quick to share their appreciation for Gorka’s outfit.
Despite their hot routine, the couple only scored 18 out of 40 points, one less than last week’s score.
Criticizing the dance, Motsi Mabuse said that he “loved the sass and the style, but for ballroom dancing, your posture let you down”, while Anton Du Beke commented: “elegant, tremendous open work, but it got lazy in wait”.
Shirley Ballas said: “top half strong and dynamic but bottom half weaker”, and Craig Revel Horwood concluded that “it was heading towards invertebrates, it lacked tone”.
