Chris McCausland has reunited his feud with Lord Alan Sugar after his controversial tweets earlier this month.

The comedian, 47, hit out again at The Apprentice boss after he took to Twitter two weeks ago to share his scathing opinion of the BBC dance show and its ‘tricks’.

While Lord Sugar suggested that he was not talking about the show starring a blind man, Chris responded once again in an interview with The timesand asked: ‘But what was he talking about? I can’t imagine it. ‘

He added: ‘Some people are in a position where they should know how to keep things inside their heads. We all have these thoughts from time to time, don’t we? But we can keep them to ourselves.

Lord Sugar’s original tweet read: “I don’t know when the contestants on Strictly Come Dancing will run out of tricks.” I wouldn’t be surprised if next year they had a mechanical robot with AI. @bbcstrictly’.

Responding amid the avalanche of comments, Chris replied: “I’m sorry that my trick offends you, oh mighty Lord,” adding a pun on Sugar’s Apprentice’s famous catchphrase with the hashtag ‘#YoureTired.’

The Royal National Institute for the Blind also responded to the business tycoon’s comments, writing: ‘Hello @Lord_Sugar, I am a blind person. I can’t believe I have to say this, but disabilities are not tricks.

‘Having disability representation on @BBCStrictly makes people like me feel seen. It shows what we can do, not what we can’t do. There’s nothing misleading about that.’

Lord Sugar then replied: ‘Why do you assume I’m referring to disabled people? You disgust me.’

Speaking elsewhere in the Times interview about being an inspirational figure for the disability community, Chris added: ‘If you have a disability, you have to show a lot of perseverance, creativity and problem solving every day.

‘There are many people capable of doing much more than the opportunities they are given. “For me it’s about representing that community.”

Chris is a firm favorite among fans and the bookies had him as the 9/4 favorite to win the series last week.

Despite coming last in the standings with their zombie-themed Samba on Saturday night, Chris and Dianne Buswell went straight to next week during the results presentation.

He added: 'Some people are in a position where they should know how to keep things inside their heads. We all have these thoughts from time to time, right? But we can keep them to ourselves.
