Jayde Adams became the fourth celebrity to leave the dance floor on Sunday’s Strictly Come Dancing results show.
On Saturday night, the remaining couples took to the ballroom to celebrate 100 years of the BBC in hopes of impressing judges, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and head judge, Shirley Ballas and the voting public.
But this weekend, the comedian, 37, was pulled from the show after going out in the dreaded dance opposite CBBC star Molly Rainford, 21.
Farewell: Jayde Adams became the fourth celebrity to leave the dance floor on Sunday’s Strictly Come Dancing results show
Both couples performed their routines again. Molly and her dance partner Carlos Gu performed their couple choice on the Grange Hill Theme Tune.
After that, Jayde and her dance partner Karen Hauer performed their Charleston for The Ballad Of Barry and Freda (Let’s Do It) in an effort to impress the judges and stay in the competition.
After both couples danced a second time, the judges rendered their verdict, with Craig choosing to save Molly and Carlos.
He said, “Well, two very different dances, but based on technical skills alone, I’d like to save Molly and Carlos.”
Stiff competition: The comedian, 37, was pulled from the show after facing CBBC star Molly Rainford, 21, in the dreaded dance off
Here we go again: Jayde and her dance partner Karen Hauer performed their Charleston for The Ballad Of Barry and Freda (Let’s Do It) in an effort to impress the judges and stay in the competition
Decision time: After both couples danced a second time, the judges made their verdict, with Molly and Carlos moving on to next week’s show
Motsi chose to save them too, saying: “Well, I thought you were both brilliant, I thought both performances were better than Saturday night, but I’m going to save Molly and Carlos.”
Anton agreed, adding: ‘Well, it’s really awful. The dance off is such a hard place to find yourself, and it’s so disappointing and I thought both couples didn’t succumb to that disappointment and performed really, really well.
“But based on that performance alone, Molly and Carlos are the couple I’d like to save with a slightly more polished technique.”
With three votes to Molly and Carlos, it meant they had won the majority of the vote and would remain in the competition anyway, but chief judge Shirley also said she would have decided to save the pair.
Support: The surviving celebrities hugged Jayde as she prepared to leave the dance floor for the last time
Proud: ‘This is the best thing I’ve ever done in my life and I’ll wear it to my grave,’ Jayde told the judges before her final dance
She said, “Well, both were absolutely fantastic at the dance, but with a little more precision and movement quality, I would have saved Molly and Carlos.”
When Tess asked about her time on the show, Jayde said, “This is the best thing I’ve ever done in my life and I’ll wear it to my grave, and it’s been an absolute pleasure working with you.” [Karen] and learn about so much that will fit into my own things, into my own work.
“You are one of the most gifted people I’ve ever worked with Karen with. And everyone on this show said it to me, when I had you, they said, “You’ve got the best”, sorry everyone, and I did and you’re fantastic and this was such an honor.
“Not only must I be on Strictly Come Dancing, but I must have Karen Hauer, you are amazing, thanks for everything!

“I’ve done shows before, and nothing holds a candle to the way this show is performed. It’s incredible to be a part of as an artist, we’re being looked after so well, and in this industry where so many people aren’t being looked after, this show is incredible, well done everyone.”
When asked if she had words for her partner, Karen said, “It’s been a roller coaster of emotions for us, and you’re so special, so powerful, so emotional, and I’ve loved every second of it. Thanks Jayde.’
