‘The right result and it should be a great final. And for once I would love for any of the four finalists to win.’; ‘No, that is not the correct result!!!’; ‘Well, that’s a relief. I’m happy with the result!’
Although I am disappointed, it was the right result and what I expected.’; ‘Fair. “Great finale 4 and it will be a Christmas cracker next week.”

‘Noooo absolutely gutted.’; ‘The four I expected from Week 1, in the end. “I felt like Jamie and/or Montell had one of them outplayed for a good portion of the series, but here we are.”
‘Just saw the #Strictly spoiler saying it eliminates the public vote when it gets to the semi-finals next year. The overall winner must be judged on his merits in the dance, not on his public popularity; ‘How happy! The 4 correct endings!’

Strictly has always been considered more serious than other reality shows, but now judges and some BBC bosses fear it is becoming a popularity contest.
Their concerns come after Pete and the show’s first blind contestant, Chris, reached the semi-final, meaning at least one of them will go through to next week’s final.
The situation has created a dilemma, as insiders fear the two men will gain spots at the expense of others, like Tasha and JB, who have received high scores.
A source told the Mail’s Katie Hind: ‘For the judges, this change has been difficult. They are dancers and choreographers. Their entire careers (and lives) have been about being the best and the best at dancing.
“So to see the show focus on who likes who more instead of the quality of their dancing… you could say it’s pretty depressing.
‘To think that Pete has had a risk-free journey on the show, while Tasha and Montell have taken on the dance off has made those at the top wonder what the future of Strictly will be like.

“It’s becoming more of a popularity contest than a dance contest.”
The source added: “Those watching at home love to see beautiful dances. It is a joy for them to see a perfect performance.
‘But the panorama has changed and is causing a kind of crisis. We are facing a final in which the dancing is not up to par as usual, but rather features celebrities that people really enjoy watching.
“But the public votes and has the right to say who they want on the show.”
