A Strictly Come Dancing professional’s future has seemingly been confirmed after his fiancée ran away.
Gorka Marquez’s fiancée Gemma Atkinson has inadvertently revealed that the pro will return to the BBC show when it returns later this year.
The mother of two accidentally confirmed that Gorka will be returning to the dance floor, but she is unsure if she will have a partner on the show.
Gemma, who shares daughter Mia, four, and Thiago, 10 months, with Gorka, spoke about looking after her children when he goes off to train on Strictly.
While juggling her own work commitments, Gemma said she has to rely on her parents as Gorka’s family lives in Spain.

In a now-deleted social media post, Gemma explained: ‘Depending on Gorka’s partner and whether he has a partner, depending on where they are, he doesn’t know where he is.
“All the childcare falls to my family because obviously his entire family is in Spain.”
Last week, Gorka’s co-stars Luba Mushtuk and Jowita Przystal revealed that they still don’t know if they will return for the 2024 series.
Jowita explained: ‘Hopefully we will be back, we don’t know yet. You’ll have to watch to find out.
Luba added: “Fingers crossed, it’s very exciting.”
A BBC spokesperson said: “Professional dancers for 2024 will be announced in due course.”
It comes after Gemma hit back at critics of her long-distance relationship with Gorka in Lorraine in February.
The presenter revealed she is “great on her own” while the Strictly Come Dancing star goes to work because she likes her own “space” as she continues to respond to persistent split rumours.

In a now-deleted social media post according to The Sun, Gemma explained: “Depending on Gorka’s partner and whether he has a partner, depending on where they are, he doesn’t know where he is.”
Gorka is currently a judge on the Spanish version of the BBC competition show, Dancing with the Stars, and is “at home during the week” and in Madrid at the weekends to film.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine, Gemma said she doesn’t care if people find their romance “strange” because she’s used to it and “it’s always been that way.”
She said: “He is strictly in Spanish as a judge, he is at home during the week, but on the weekends I have my space to make it all work.”
She continued: ‘I understand that people find it strange that we are apart so much, but that’s how it’s always been since we met. Every year I know between August and Christmas, and Gorka knows, she doesn’t know where she’s going to be.
‘As I’ve done Strictly and know that side, it’s not a surprise to me. The army wives, their companions are away for six or seven months and they say that I am complaining because I have been alone for three weeks but I am really having the best time.
‘You don’t want to depend on each other so much that you can’t do anything without them and I think that’s the good thing about Gorka and I is that on his own he’s great, on my own I’m great, but together he’s like unstoppable.’
