JB Gill is the second celebrity confirmed for the 2024 series of Strictly Come Dancing, revealing the news live on This Morning on Monday.
Earlier in the show, the blind comedian Chris McCausland was confirmed as the first signing.
JB follows in the footsteps of bandmate Aston Merrygold, who was eliminated in tenth place during the 2017 series.
The star also has a history with Strictly, winning the BBC One dance show’s Christmas special in 2012, performing the Jive with Ola Jordan.
JB rose to fame as a member of one of the UK’s biggest boy bands, JLS, and has amassed five number one singles, over 10 million record sales worldwide and won a multitude of awards after competing on The X Factor in 2008.

JB is also a keen and award-winning farmer and was the main presenter of CBeebies’ BAFTA-nominated television series Down On The Farm, Channel 5’s On The Farm series, as well as contributions to BBC’s Countryfile and Springwatch.
She has been part of the BBC Songs of Praise presenting team since 2017 and has her own TV show Cooking With The Gills on Channel 5.
He is married to Chloe and the couple share two children: son Ace, nine, and daughter Chiara, five.
JB Gill says: ‘I danced on Strictly’s Christmas special over a decade ago and LOVED it, so when I got the call to join Strictly this year I jumped at the chance.’
“I’m looking forward to going and hopefully showing some new skills to the JLS boys.”

Strictly has been thrown into chaos in recent weeks following a series of allegations of abuse by staff.
