The gamer community has complained about a bug in the Deluxe Edition of Street Fighter 6, with some claiming they can’t access the version and its features on PS5. There are reports that the Ultimate version also suffers from the same issue and Capcom is working on a quick fix for it.
Street Fighter 6 was released a couple of days ago and set records in terms of the number of players on the Steam platform, as we talked about here. However, this does not preclude the existence of certain problems with it, especially at the level of special copies such as Deluxe and Ultimate.
According to the site Eurogamer And just hours after the launch of the game, players flocked to the game’s channels and social networking sites, where they reported that despite obtaining the versions, they were unable to take advantage of its features and some of them were not even able to launch the game.
If you are facing a similar problem, players are suggesting to restore the licenses on your PSN account profiles or alternatively, try this “circular route” solution as follows:
- Turn on your PS5, log into your account and download the PS mobile app.
- Open the app and sign in to your PSN account.
- Tap the “Game Library” button at the bottom, then select the SF6 icon.
- There should be a “PS5 | Street Fighter 6>” – Press this button and you should be taken to a view with multiple versions of SF6.
- Scroll down to Deluxe/Ultimate Edition (it should say “Purchased”), and select that edition once selected, press the play button. These steps should solve the problem.
