Street Fighter 6 and Mega Man producer Mr. Tsuchiya is leaving Capcom after 30 years

Acclaimed Street Fighter 6 and Mega Man producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya is leaving Capcom after nearly 30 years with the company. The producer did not announce this news, but simply updated the interface of her Twitter page to mention that she had officially left the company.

Mr. Tsuchiya joined Capcom in the 90’s. He produced Mega Man and Street Fighter 6, and has also worked on a number of games including Haunting Ground, Asura’s Wrath, Project X Zone, and Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

Tsuchiya directed the PS2 exclusive game Haunting Ground, which was a huge hit with gamers at the time. It is currently unknown when Tsuchiya left Capcom, but he certainly left a mark on the company, especially since his latest game, SF6, which will be released in a few days, has received universal acclaim from critics.
