Grace Van Dien has changed her approach to acting after a run-in with a film producer left her “very upset”.
“I’ve seen some people get upset with me for turning down acting projects and deciding to broadcast more, but the fact is that the last few projects I’ve worked on, I didn’t have the best experiences with some of them. the people I had to work for,” he said in a Twitch stream earlier this week.
Van Dien, who joined “Stranger Things” in season 4 as cheerleader Chrissy Cunningham, added that she is looking for more agency after a producer on “one of the last movies I did” allegedly asked her for sexual favors.
The 26-year-old actor said the producer, whom he did not name, allegedly “hired a girl he was sleeping with and then asked me to do a threesome with them.”
She continued: “I didn’t and I cried and was very upset.”
After news of his accusations spread, Van Dien he tweeted on thursday that “as I get older, my work priorities are changing.
“Waiting for the right project/right people to work with,” he wrote. “It’s nice to feel calm.”
Van Dien, who has also starred in the TV series “The Village” and “Greenhouse Academy,” took time out Thursday to promote the 2020 short film “Monsters and Muses.” She “produced, directed and starred” in the project.
