A man caught in nauseating images bashing a heavily pregnant Muslim woman in a Sydney café has been bizarrely dashed out of court.

Stipe Lozina, 43, has been guilty of assaulting expectant mother Rana Elasmar at the Bay Vista Cafe in Parramatta last November.

Lozina appeared on video at the Parramatta District Court on Friday, shouting ‘f *** the system’ before leaving abruptly.

The 43-year-old appeared without any legal representation and would receive a sentence from Judge Siobhan Herbert.

He said his medication had been increased by health authorities and claimed the department had told him, “You are schizophrenic and you cannot have children.”

Then he called ‘F ** k the system’ before leaving the look, The Daily Telegraph reported.

“I assume the case has been adjourned,” said Judge Herbert.

“He would be helped by involving a lawyer, but that is Mr. Lozina’s choice.”

CCTV footage taken on November 20 shows the 43-year-old calmly approaching Ms. Elasmar who was sitting at a cafe table with friends.

Then he releases a barrage of punches and starts stamping on her head before other guests intervene and pull him away.

Mrs. Elasmar, a Muslim woman, was wearing a religious headscarf at the time of the unprovoked attack.

She was also 38 weeks pregnant and was beaten a total of 14 times and punched twice.

Justice Herbert ordered an NSW report from Justice Health to determine the urgency of the case.

Lozina is expected to appear in court again on July 14.

Despite the horrific attack, Mrs. Elasmar gave birth to a healthy boy, Zayn, just three weeks later.

Hundreds of well-wishers sent her statements of support and hoped that the unborn child would not be harmed in the cowardly attack.

The 43-year-old attacked Rana Elasmar, who had dinner at Bay Vista Cafe in Parramatta, the western suburbs of Sydney on November 20, around 10:30 PM.
