An autopsy report from Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss claims he had no drugs or alcohol in his system the day he killed himself in a hotel room aged 40.
He was found dead in a room at the Oak Tree Motel in Los Angeles – a 15-minute walk from his Los Angeles home – around 11:15 a.m. on December 13. He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
According to new legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Boss’s wife, Allison Holker, told officers that the Ellen Show DJ showed no signs of distress before his death.
Investigators noted that she told officers that “to the best of her knowledge, [Stephen] has no history of suicide attempts or suicidal ideation. She also said he “didn’t have any mental health issues, financial or marital issues.”
According to court documents, Boss was completely sober during the time leading up to his suicide.
Holker admitted it ‘breaks her heart’ that she didn’t ‘see it coming’, adding that she ‘feels sad’ that her husband is ‘so there’ for her and their children while secretly battling his demons .

After the incident, fans speculated about issues that could have led to his untimely death. Many fans were waiting for the toxicology report to find out more about what happened.
The report states: “On Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 11:10 a.m., the hotel manager and housekeeping staff entered the room, as the deceased had not left. They discovered the deceased’s belongings still in the room and later found the deceased unresponsive in the shower with an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound.
“A white towel was around the shoulders of the deceased,” and his clothes and other personal effects were found neatly folded in the motel room, according to the report.
He continues: “A table was located against the north wall of the room which contained a backpack containing various notebooks and a laptop. The deceased’s clothes were neatly folded and piled on the table.
Additionally, nothing found in the room points to anything specific that explains his actions.

As Holker still mourns the loss of her husband, whom she described as a “magical” person, she said she tries to focus on the incredible memories they made together.

Initial media reports said Boss had left a suicide note, referring to his “past struggles”.
The autopsy report confirms that a note was found, but there are no details on what is said.
Holker told police how “irrelevant” his actions were after leaving his home. It got so bad that officers considered listing it as a critical missing persons case.
Holker allegedly ran into an LAPD station, saying her husband left the house without his car, which was very unlike him.
