Stephanie Davis has sparked engagement rumors with her boyfriend Joe Mckalroy.
The soap star, 30, shared a photo of a ring on her left hand on Instagram on Thursday.
In the caption, she said she was “grateful for her love,” but did not elaborate.
But the jewelry is in fact a promise ring and Joe has yet to pop the question, her reps confirmed.
Before meeting ‘love of her life’ Joe in November 2021, Stephanie was in a relationship with ex Jeremy McConnell and the pair had son Caben, now six.
In a recent Instagram post, she spoke about Joe, saying, “You bring out the best version of myself, you are my biggest motivator and supporter and without you I would be lost. You are my better half and more!

“You’re the only person on this planet who has my composure! When I’m with you, my mind stops, I don’t think… I can just BE (and as you know, that’s a miracle haha). My safe haven.’
“You are the most wonderful daddy to Caben. You showed him the most important morals.
“You’re always there, you show up, you take him to every game, every place, you’re always thinking about him in every way to see what you can do for him or what we can plan. Your selflessness in life amazes me every day. I’m in love with you every day.
“I watched you fall in love with each other, I watched you become best friends, and then I watched you become the best daddy there is. Every day I wake up in the morning, I thank God for sending us you.
‘I will forever be indebted to him. Our entire journey was worth it because it led us to you. We love you. Unconditional. Always.’
It comes after Stephanie revealed last month that she got her role in Coronation Street ‘with her first audition back’ after a three-year break from acting.
The actress left showbiz to focus on raising her son after a rocky road to the spotlight when her parents “dragged” her into rehab for drinking three bottles of wine a day.
She revealed that her dream role from her teens was to be in the ITV soap and that she even ‘wrote a poem’ manifesting that job.

Stephanie said that when the role of married seductress Courtney Vance became available, she knew after reading the assignment that it was mine.
She said The sun: “As soon as I read the brief for the character, I thought, ‘This is mine.’ This is mine’. I did the audition and then went through this wave of emotions. I truly believe everything happens for a reason, but my first audition back? Nobody understands that.
‘I wrote a poem when I was about thirteen or fourteen that said: ‘One day I will stand on the cobbles of Coronation Street.’
‘My mother had put it in her bedside table and recently took it out again. She said, “How amazing is that? You wrote that as one of your dreams as a child and now you’re doing it.” It really is a dream come true.’
Stephanie rose to fame aged 17 after taking part in the BBC One talent show Over The Rainbow in 2010 in the hope of appearing as Dorothy in the show The Wizard Of OZ West End.
She impressed Channel 4 bosses at Hollyoaks, who invited her to audition, and that same year she joined the soap, playing teenager Sinead O’Connor.
Despite her career going from strength to strength, her drunken off-screen antics caught up with her and in 2015 she was fired for arriving on set ‘unfit for work’.
A few years later, Stephanie was admitted to rehab for alcohol addiction after several suicide attempts.
She has previously said her mental health deteriorated after appearing on Celebrity Big Brother in 2016.

During her time on the reality show, Stephanie met ex Jeremy with whom she began a turbulent relationship.
Their on/off relationship resulted in public arguments, domestic violence and a resulting three-year restraining order.
Jeremy was charged with domestic violence in August 2017 after he was accused of attacking Stephanie in a drug-fueled argument, and was sentenced to 20 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months and 200 hours of community service.
She is now in a happy relationship with partner Joe.
