Steph hilariously imitates Anderson’s slow-motion Eurostep in Warriors’ win originally appeared on NBC Sports Bay Area
TO The tenderness in his left ankle did not stop Steph Curry celebrating Kyle Anderson’s slow-motion Eurostep at the end of the Warriors victory 127-121 in overtime against the Houston Rockets on Saturday night at the Toyota Center.
Anderson helped seal the nerve-wracking victory midway through overtime with a tough pass at the line, prompting Curry to jump off the bench. As he returned to his seat, the injured Warriors star mimicked his new teammate’s slow-motion move.
Young Warriors forward Gui Santos also joined in on the fun, doing his own Anderson impression.
With Curry and forward De’Anthony Melton out with injuries, and Draymond Green and Brandin Podziemski fouling out late in the game, the Warriors needed Anderson to step up in crunch time.
In 23 minutes off the bench, Anderson finished with nine points on 4-of-10 shooting from the field, along with two rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block.
The Warriors improved to 5-1 with the win over the Rockets and it’s clear the vibe is good right now.
Curry and the Warriors expect him to return to the lineup soon, and any time the two-time NBA MVP returns, he might have to use Anderson’s slow-motion Eurostep in a game.
