Curry launched his own ‘Under Rated’ golf tour in 2022 with the goal of making the game more diverse.
The tour, which will launch its European version this year, is focused on providing equity, access and opportunities to young golfers who would not otherwise have the resources to travel to national events during the summer or play on top courses.
The circuit will begin its third season at Old Barnwell Golf Course in Aiken, South Carolina, June 21-23.
After making four stops on Tour, 24 of the top boys and girls will compete for the Curry Cup at the Under Rated Tour Championship, which for the first time will be outside the Bay Area and will move to The Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, New Jersey. September 2 to 5.
He will also accept the Charlie Sifford Award in recognition of his efforts to promote diversity in golf during the U.S. Open at Pinehurst next month.
