When Stephen Curry has a completely clear path to the hoop, you bet your lowest dollar will score on him.
But the Golden State Warriors star had a rather embarrassing moment on Monday night as he attempted to finish a show boat during his break.
It was during the third quarter of the Warriors’ game in the Los Angeles Lakers that Curry intercepted a terrible opposition pass deep within his own team’s territory.
With no one to stop him, it seems that Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry just can’t miss
But as he prepares for the show boat’s opinion, Curry slips some moisture onto the pitch

It didn’t look any better on the slo-mo when Curry’s feet came out from under him at the crucial moment

He was left completely out of control as he ran to the unguarded hoop and had plenty of time to try something for the season’s highlights.
But just as he was getting ready to take off, Curry slipped and was stretched out on his back.
Though red-faced, Curry was immediately back on his feet to try a three-point shot that was nowhere near the target.
Curry was released moments later, but was seen laughing at his blunder with Draymond Green as it played on the big screen in Staples Center.
Not that it mattered too much in the end, as the Warriors won 130-111 to extend their winning streak to eight and maintain their place on top of the NBA Western Conference.
Curry then saw the funny side and said, “Back to back hilarious plays, it happens to the best of us.
“I was like a kid walking to the candy store with half the court empty, I’d try something really nice that I hadn’t tried before and the Lord wouldn’t let me do it.”

Curry couldn’t quite believe his accident after the embarrassing blooper in LA
The Staples Center is a versatile venue that can be switched from an ice hockey rink – the Los Angeles Kings play home games there – to a basketball court in just a few hours.
It was suggested that moisture from the ice sheet had seeped underneath and created the smooth spot that Curry claimed as a victim.
But there wasn’t much sympathy on Twitter because fans spotted quickly.
Sports broadcaster Harrison Faigen tweeted ‘that was without a doubt the worst streak of Stephen Curry’s career’, while Philiana Ng posted ‘Steph Curry’s slip is the blooper of the season’.
Martin Gallegos posted, “Oh man … Curry will be on the very best blooper reel for that LOL.”

Fortunately, Klay Thompson was in sensational form for the Warriors, setting an NBA record by making his first 10 attempts from a range of 3 points and scoring a total of 44 points.
Thompson was successful with 10 of the 11 shots from outside the arc when the two-time defending champion won their seventh consecutive race on the road.
Kevin Durant added 20 points and Curry had 11 points and 12 assists for Golden State.
Ivica Zubac led Los Angeles with 18 runs. The Lakers were without their primary playmakers in LeBron James, Lonzo Ball and Rajon Rondo.
They fell to 5-9 without James, whose left preload has forced him into the longest part of his 16-year career.
