The fitness influencer, 30, took to Instagram Stories on Saturday night with a heartbreaking update about her son’s sleeping patterns, calling the experience her “worst night” as a mom.

Steph, who shares Harvey with husband Josh Miller, first uploaded a screenshot of a wellness app page showing she had only gotten three hours of sleep.

“Well that was the worst and most challenging night in three years of being a mom,” she captioned the graphic.

The co-founder of fitness program Keep It Cleaner then shared a photo of herself lying in bed next to her son on Saturday night, looking very unimpressed.

‘I came home from the cinema at 11pm and went straight to bed. 11:30 Harvey woke up from a nightmare, Josh relocated, we thought he had gone back to sleep, ten minutes later he wakes up screaming,” he began.

‘Josh tried to relocate but Harvey was determined to sleep with us. So I got into his bed and 20 minutes later he told me that he wanted to go to our guest room, that he didn’t want to sleep in his room. So I did it. Only to be awake for another half hour with him until he patted me hard and wouldn’t stop, honestly, like he was trapped and couldn’t hear me.’

Steph went on to explain that Harvey was “adamant” that if he went down to his parents’ room to sleep, he would eventually fall asleep.

However, as soon as Steph moved into her bed with Harvey, things went from bad to worse.

‘Then he started not sleeping, kicking us in the back, climbing on our heads, anything BUT sleeping. “Other than a few breakdowns Josh and I had, Harvey finally gave in and realized it was a nightmare, at 3:30 a.m.,” he said.

Steph said she and Josh woke up at 6:40, so they only got three hours of sleep.

‘Why does everyone warn you about the shocking sleep you have with a newborn but fail to mention that toddler nights can be so difficult too?’ she wailed.

‘Fingers crossed tonight he’ll come down okay and I’ll be in bed straight after!’ —Steph added.

“We decided we weren’t going to let lack of sleep or rain keep us on the couch all day,” she wrote.
