Pittsburgh Steelers star Alex Highsmith appeared to suffer a serious ankle injury in the closing stages of their game against the Washington Commanders on Sunday.
Highsmith was chasing Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels deep in the fourth quarter when his ankle became caught and bent at an awkward angle.
His teammates immediately looked upset as he remained on the ground needing medical assistance.
