Three children were rushed to hospital after an alleged stabbing at a Westfield shopping centre.
A fight broke out between a group of boys at Westfield Doncaster, in Melbourne’s north-east, about 5.30pm on Friday.
Officers arrived and discovered three children suffering from suspected stab wounds.
“One of the children suffered a suspected stab wound to the upper body, another had a laceration to his back and the third a laceration to his arm,” a Victoria Police spokesperson said.
‘All three were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“Officers arrested six teenagers at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.”
Witnesses reported that a fight had broken out in the mall’s food court.
