St Mary’s stabbing: Drew Douglas, mother of four, is found stabbed to death in her home
A man is said to have made a long and incoherent phone call to police just hours before his partner was discovered stabbed to death in their western Sydney home.
The nature of the call and the way police responded to it is currently being investigated by the NSW Police Homicide Squad.
Police were called to the St Marys home at around 6.45am on Wednesday.
Mother-of-four Drew Douglas, who gave birth to her youngest child a month ago, was found stabbed in the chest and died at the scene.
Shaun King, 35, identified as Ms Douglas’ partner, was later arrested in Campbelltown. He was stabbed in the chest and is being questioned by detectives.
