A St. Louis councilor was caught on camera and threatened to call the police on a teenager he claimed was responsible for denting his car.
The incident occurred Thursday afternoon at a McDonald & # 39; s parking lot in the suburb of Florissant and was recorded by the teenager who was accused.
In the clip, alderman Timothy Jones claims that his car was damaged by the 17-year-old when he opened the door of his own car, parked in the next room.
However, the boy insisted that he was not responsible for the damage.
& # 39; My name is Timmy Jones and I am a Florissant counselor … you are right, I am going to call the police, man! & # 39; the man tells the teenager at the start of the video.

Jones was furious with a small dent between the back door on the passenger side and the trunk
Clearly excited, Jones continues: & # 39; You could have said: & # 39; Sorry about that! & # 39; and we could all have gone our own way. Instead, say, "Oh, there's no dent, and I didn't do that!" & # 39; Come on man! Who are you playing, man?
The boy remains calm despite the accusation and insists that he is not responsible for the damage.
& # 39; It's here! & # 39; Shouts exultantly to a dent on the right side of his vehicle, between the trunk and the passenger door.
The teenager then provides evidence that he believes he is cleaning him up as the perpetrator of the damage and opens his own car door to prove that it was not near the dent. .
& # 39; You just said I got there, and (my door) didn't even get there. So please tell me what dent did I do? Anyway, let's call the police like you said! & # 39; tells the 17-year-old Jones.
Jones, however, suddenly seems to have lost his conviction and stammers over his words.
& # 39; Call them out, dude! & # 39; he tells the teenager.
The teenager proved that he was not responsible for the damage because the car door of his own red vehicle was not near the damaged area
& # 39; You said you were going to do it! & # 39; says the boy who seems amused by the fact that the man has changed his attitude.
& # 39; Hey man, just keep going with your day, I'm not even worried about it & # 39 ;, he says as he leaves Jones.
The teen's sister posted the video on her Twitter account – where it was quickly viewed more than two million times.
& # 39; I taught my brother well … 17 years old and respectfully made a fool of this St. Louis councilor who tried to harass him today … You really hate to see it … & # 39 ; she wrote.

Jones was arrested in 2014 after asking an undercover police officer for sex, convinced she was a prostitute
& # 39; LOVE how he keeps telling your brother (the teenager) to have some courtesy and apology … but if he proves that it is not possible that he has left that dent, the man says nothing, & # 39 ; another commented.
Meanwhile, a third viewer of the viral video appeared amused throughout the ordeal and wrote: & The best thing is that he opens the door as wide as he goes and he still doesn't hit the other car, that was a checkmate. & # 39;
It is not the first time that Councilor Jones has been in the spotlight.
