A shooter remains on the loose after a home in Sydney’s southwest was riddled with bullets in the fourth shooting to rock the city in a week.
Three people were inside the house on Briggs Place in St Helens Park when an unknown gunman fired shots into the property at around 7pm on Wednesday.
Witnesses told police that a dark-colored Audi sedan was seen leaving the scene after the alleged shooting, which damaged the home and a car.
There were no reports of injuries.
Officers have established a crime scene outside the home and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
The alleged shooting comes just a day after another house in Sydney’s west was shot up and a burnt-out car was discovered nearby.

A family of six were inside the house on Miles Street in Merrylands when it was allegedly attacked at around 10pm on Tuesday.
A burnt Hyundai hatchback was found in Bass Hill, about 10 kilometers from the house.
Officers believe the shooter was in a light-colored car.
Acting NSW Police Superintendent Darren Beeche said the incident was an alleged gang-related move carried out by a “coward in the middle of the night”.
“I believe the family in that house had nothing to do with crime, gangs or drugs,” he said at a news conference Wednesday.
“These people have low intelligence and it is usually a cowardly act by a coward in the middle of the night and unfortunately they often end up in the wrong place.”

Last Thursday, a home on Constitution Hill was shot up.
Four people were unharmed after the house was attacked around 3:30 a.m.
