Melbourne school stabbing: Boy, 17, is arrested after allegedly knifing another boy at school

A 16-year-old boy was reportedly stabbed at a Melbourne school and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Emergency services were called to the school on Wilson Rd in Melton South about 3pm on Tuesday following reports a teenager had been stabbed.

Subsequently, a 17-year-old young man turned himself in at a police station, where he was detained.

Police were told another teen fled the scene on foot.

Detectives from Victoria Police’s Melton Crime Investigation Unit are investigating the alleged incident and are yet to establish the circumstances.
