A brutal fight between two rival groups of youths involving a machete left four teenagers in hospital with stab wounds.

The two groups clashed at the Errington Reserve Plaza skate park in St Albans, in Melbourne’s northwest, shortly before 8pm on Saturday.

Four teenagers suffered non-life-threatening stab wounds and one of those in the fray is believed to have been armed with a machete.

Two of the teens, ages 18 and 15, were dropped off at a nearby hospital by an unnamed driver who drove off, police said.

The other boys, both 15 years old, were taken to hospital around 9:45 p.m.

A Victoria Police spokesperson said it is understood both parties know each other.

Those involved are not assisting Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit detectives with their investigations.

Blood splatters could be seen on the concrete of the skate park Sunday morning after police were seen checking the scene the night before.

A nearby resident, who wished to remain anonymous, told the Herald Sun that police had blocked off nearby streets until early morning.

Another local, Alan Tran, told the publication that the recent violence had left his children too scared to leave the house at night.

“I’m scared for myself, for my family and for everyone here,” he said.

No charges have yet been filed and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
