San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich recently suffered a minor stroke, the NBA franchise announced.
Earlier this month, news broke that Popovich would miss the bench due to a health issue.
On Wednesday, the Spurs provided an update on the veteran coach’s condition, revealing that the 75-year-old is expected to make a full recovery from the stroke, which occurred on November 2.
“At this time, no timeline has been determined for his return to the bench,” the statement read.
“During this time, the organization thanks the broader community for providing privacy and space to the Popovich family.”
The team added that Popovich has already started a rehabilitation program after the medical episode.
