The European monarch looked bright and breezy in a pink summer dress as she attended the 2022 Gold Medal of Merit in Fine Arts awards ceremony on Wednesday.

The mother-of-two wore an elegant pink and white floral ruched dress from Spanish brand Lady Pipa, in the color ‘Terrazzo Rose’, currently selling online for £110.

This isn’t the first time the royal has sported the look, wearing the same ensemble to a lunch celebrating the “Miguel de Cervantes” literature prize last year.

The 51-year-old completed today’s outfit with a white clutch and accessorized with chic pearl earrings.

King Felipe VI looked typically dapper in a gray pinstripe suit, adding a pink tie to match his wife’s ensemble.

Letizia’s newly cut hair looked shiny and sleek as she styled it into bouncy curls and her glamorous makeup featured a smokey eye.

Inside, the royal couple presented the Gold Medal of Merit in Fine Arts to the winners.

This honor has been awarded annually since 1995 by the Spanish Ministry of Culture to individuals or institutions excelling in art or culture.

Many artists – from musicians to playwrights, gallery owners and clowns – have already received this recognition for their exceptional work in the field.

Those who encouraged the dissemination and preservation of art and culture were also celebrated.

It comes after Letizia attended the Discapnet Awards, in Madrid last week, teaming her green shirt with a pair of matching heels and white bootcut pants.

The Discapnet Awards, now in their seventh year, recognize ICT-based initiatives that make technology more accessible to people with disabilities.

Four prizes of €5,000 are on offer for categories such as ‘Best ICT-enabled product or service’ and for media that helps inform people about the support available to them.

This is undoubtedly of interest to Letizia as a former journalist who worked as a news anchor at CNN+ before meeting King Felipe.

It comes after Letizia’s daughter, Crown Princess Leonor of Spain, had a royal inspection of her father this week.

King Felipe visited the future queen, 18, and her classmates at the Zaragoza military training center.

Leonor donned her best camouflage as she joined the maneuvers carried out by students of the General Military Academy of the San Gregorio National Training Center.

The King of Spain, who also donned military uniform as commander-in-chief of all of Spain’s land, navy and air armies, shook his daughter’s hand as she stood among other military trainees.

The royals then sat next to each other as they had lunch with the military students at the national training center.

The princess, who turned 18 in October last year, has made solo appearances and trained at the Military Academy to ensure she is ready for her future in the monarchy.
