Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader is candid about taking Ozempic and admits her three sisters are in “big trouble” for “snitching” on her.
While speaking to DailyMail.com at the CELSIUS Padel Classic celebrity charity tournament during Miami’s Art Basel on Friday, Nader spoke about the controversial drug GLP-1 and when he started taking it.
In recent years, GLP-1 medications, which have historically been used to treat type 2 diabetes, have become wildly popular as a weight loss aid.
Ozempic contains a compound called semaglutide, which “mimics the hormone GLP-1,” according to UCLA Healtha hormone that can work with your brain to suppress appetite and make you feel full more quickly.
When taken in high doses, combined with diet and exercise, it can help people lose weight.
Earlier this month, Nader made headlines after one of her sisters criticized her for using the drug in a funny video. posted on TikTok.
And it turns out that Nader isn’t exactly happy with her sisters for sharing the information.
“My sisters ratted me out for that, so they’re in big trouble, but yeah, I did it,” the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model told DailyMail.com.

Nader, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has three sisters: Mary Holland, Grace Ann and Sarah Jane.
“I tried it when it first came out and I liked it, I can’t lie,” Nader admitted of the GLP-1 drug.
But when she started performing on Dancing With The Stars this season, the model had to stop taking it, she shared.
“It was very taxing on your physical body and everything, and it makes you so tired and fatigued, so I had to take a little break,” he said, laughing.
However, doing it again is not ruled out for the Dolce & Gabbana model.
“I mean, never say never… from now on, no,” he said, explaining that he would hopefully burn some calories while playing paddle tennis.
“Keep staying healthy and exercising, I hope I don’t have to,” he added.
Some netizens criticized the star for taking the weight loss drug, as many believed she was already thin enough.

However, it seems like their relationship, or something close to it, is still going strong, as the couple was spotted at the South Beverly Grill in Los Angeles last week.
The lovebirds were seen making doe-eyed looks at each other as they sat outside and chatted closely.
As they walked back to their car, Savchenko, 41, insisted TMZ They ‘are (really) together’ and their connection is ‘real’ after persistent showbiz rumors.
When asked about the ring on her ring finger, Nader, who was previously married to Billy Haire, explained that she “turned an old ring into a new ring.”
She proceeded to call the accessory her “divorce ring.”
The exes announced their separation earlier this year after four years of marriage.
