Spinning lights in the Ohio sky has multiple people saying they saw a rotating UFO ship

Date:

Multiple people claim to have seen orbiting UFOs in the night sky over Middletown, Ohio, Wednesday night.

Witnesses said they saw strange spinning green lights overhead around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

That’s what a resident, Bryce Garrick, told me local news outlet WCPO Cincinnati he was in his car when he saw the object.

In a video Garrick shared with the outlet, five green lights can be seen in a circle rotting in a counterclockwise direction before quickly darting to the left out of sight.

Another witness, Caden Little, said the incident was ‘scary’ but that ‘it was out of sight in two seconds’.

“It looked like something I’d never seen before,” Little said, “I’d seen drones fly before and this wasn’t like a drone.”

However, Bryan Simpson, president of the Cincinnati Astronomical Society, expressed skepticism about the origin of the lights, suggesting it could simply be a stunt for social media influence.

“I think the real test of authenticity is when you get a lot of reports of the same thing.

“Otherwise it’s probably fake. And I want to see at least 20 different reports,” Simpson said.

Adding: “This is so easy to fake with out-of-the-box motion graphics software for TikTok likes.”

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to the outlet that it had not received any calls about the lights.

Dispatchers said they have no explanation for the sightings.

It comes after a high-profile ‘UFO sighting’ in Las Vegas in April that left a family trapped in their home.

Another witness, Caden Little, said the incident was 'scary' but that 'it was out of sight in two seconds'.

The family, who claimed to have seen aliens in their backyard, claimed they were then forced to lock up their property after being threatened by people who believed they were engaged in an “elaborate hoax.”

The family, who refused to reveal their identities, told NewsNation off-camera that they had been left “anxious and scared” and were now unwilling to leave their home.

The father and two sons, who stand by their story, have not publicly discussed the nature of the threats.

They contacted 911 on April 30 and said there were “10 foot aliens” in their backyard and they had seen an object fall from the sky.

A Vegas police officer also picked up a green object in the sky, which has since been explained as a meteor by the American Meteor Society.

“There is a person 2.5 meters tall next to it and another one inside us [sic] and it’s got big eyes and it’s looking at us — and it’s still there,” the family’s son told 911.

‘In my backyard. I swear to God this isn’t a joke, this is actually — we’re terrified,” the caller claimed.

‘They are very big. They are about 8 feet, 9 feet, 10 feet. They look like aliens to us. Big eyes. They have big eyes. For example, I can’t explain it. And big mouth. They are shiny eyes and they are not human. They are 100 percent not human,” he said.

The responding officers also expressed their trepidation at the strange occurrences.

“I’m so nervous right now,” a cop can be heard saying to his partner on their bodycam footage.

“I got butterflies, man – saw a shooting star and now these people are saying there are aliens in their backyard.”

“I don’t believe in it, but what I’ve seen now, I do believe in it,” one of the reported witnesses told police.

Robert Lunsford of the American Meteor Society told NewsNation about the light “it was a larger-than-normal meteor, probably the size of a basketball to a beach ball, traveling at tremendous speed and when it hits the atmosphere it starts to evaporate and that friction causes a very bright flash.

“We’re confident it’s a meteor because of the duration of the event, almost everyone reported it lasted between two and five seconds.

“That’s way too fast to be a returning satellite or a rocket, and the fact that it was seen over such a wide area is a damn good indication it was a fireball.”

However, Ryan Burns, podcaster and founder of Space Wolf Research, is one of those who believe the family’s story.

He told NewsNation that his own research in nearby Lake Mead suggests an alien landing.

The American Meteor Society says it’s almost certain that the green light on the police footage was a meteor.

The area of the alleged sighting was searched and the witnesses questioned, but no new information was found.

The LVPD has since closed the case.

The incident received attention after a former intelligence officer turned whistleblower recently claimed that the US has a trove of parts and equipment from UFOs of “non-human origin” that have crash-landed on Earth.

David Charles Grusch said the US and other countries are also involved in top secret operations trying to “reverse engineer” the pieces to create weapons.

But Grusch also claims the information was illegally withheld from Congress because the administration tried to hide the finds, implicating an “80-year arms race” to profit from the technology.

He told The Debrief, “We’re not talking prosaic origins or identities. The material includes intact and partially intact vehicles.

“The existence of complex historical programs for the coordinated search and study of exotic material, dating back to the early 20th century, should no longer be a secret.”

Grusch, who served in Afghanistan and worked for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), turned over details of the alleged operations to Congress and the Intelligence Community’s Inspector General.

He has also filed a complaint against the Ministry of Defense, claiming he was banned for his decision to whistle.

The 36-year-old worked with the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force from 2019-2021.
