The maintenance worker, billed as the real ‘spider man’, rushed to the rescue when spectators noticed she was stranded outside a six-story balcony.

The savior, Hu Yunchuan, worked nearby when he learned that a five-year-old girl was trapped on the outside wall of a building after accidentally climbing out of a window.
Mr. Hu’s company has rewarded him with a brand new apartment to honor his heroic act.
The extraordinary incident occurred on Thursday morning in Zigong, Sichuan Province in southwestern China.
At the time, Mr. Hu saw a crowd of people gather outside a residential building while working for a local community.
He discovered that a little girl was stuck in front of a window after accidentally climbing out of her sixth-floor house to find her mother. It is believed that the young child was home alone.
Hu first tried to open the front door of the apartment with another resident, but to no avail, he later told local media.
The service technician then climbed through the resident’s window on the floor below to the facade of the building.

A video show Mr. Hu how the outside of the block is scaled with bare hands to save the terrified child, while other people spread a sheet and prepare to catch the girl if she falls.
Within seconds, the child was successfully rescued by the worker.
Hu was labeled the real ‘spider man’ by his company, consumer giant Haier.
The company announced this on social media post today Mr. Hu will be awarded a brand new flat worth 600,000 yuan (£ 68,997) for saving the girl’s life.
“We don’t see dangerous incidents happening. But when society is in need, we hope every Haier person comes forward, ‘the company wrote.
Mr. Hu said Sichuan Observer that the heroic act arose from its natural reaction.
“I wasn’t thinking about anything at the time,” added the service technician. “It is very common to do.
