Spencer Pratt has slammed online trolls for criticizing his wife Heidi Montag over her sexy music career.
Heidi, who turns 38 this month, is set to release her new single 5G on September 13 and has found herself in the crosshairs of trolls who have told her to go back to “being a mother” rather than a pop star.
Fed up with the backlash, Spencer took to Instagram and TikTok to call out his wife’s critics, who he noted are mostly middle-aged women.
“The amount of women attacking my wife in the comments section for her new 5G song coming out on September 13th is really crazy,” he said.
“They sit here and come on my page or my wife’s page and attack her with the cruelest comments,” she continued, after noting that most of the women attacking Heidi appeared to be other moms.

She then boasted that Heidi has over 1.1 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
“The age group that Heidi makes music for, and her real fans, are not the same age as the people who say these terrible things,” he said.
“It makes sense that you don’t understand the music because it’s not for you. Heidi makes music for her listeners, who are probably 20 years younger than you.”
After relaunching her music career in June with the single Wet Hot Summer, Heidi was repeatedly attacked online and told to cover up because she is a devout Christian and mother.
Speaking about the backlash to DailyMail.com at the time, Heidi said: “I thought we were past this point in the culture of being so judgmental and shaming mothers and women for being more than one thing.”
She continued: ‘I’m simply following in the footsteps of amazing women like Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé and Katy Perry, who prove that you can be a mother and still be sexy.
“Why is it that women, when they have children, are defined solely by that, but men are never defined by fatherhood? Chris Hemsworth and Jason Momoa get praised every time they take their shirts off, but God forbid a mother wears a bikini!”

The reality star admitted that she felt like she had been singled out more than others over the years, especially when it came to her appearance.
“People have always believed they could say whatever they wanted about me and get away with it,” said Heidi, who once underwent 10 cosmetic surgery procedures in a single day.
‘The things that were said about my surgeries back then were so cruel that you would be cancelled if you said them now.
“I don’t know why I’ve always been a target, but I’ve learned to ignore it and focus on the positive because I get a lot of support from my fans, so there’s really no need to focus on the haters.”
