The former Made In Chelsea star, 35, is currently training for an endurance race to raise money for charity.

Spencer flaunted his weight loss as he shared a shirtless photo on Instagram and explained that he’s struggling with intense training.

He wrote: ‘Sometimes I’m tired from all the training but it will be worth it when we raise a lot of money for the people in this country who really deserve it!

‘World record announcement coming TUESDAY! Feeling strong and focused.’

Last month, Spencer responded to claims that he “looks sick” and is too thin after being inundated with comments about his appearance.

Taking to social media, the TV star told her followers that she is in the best shape of her life and to stop commenting on other people’s appearance.

She wrote: ‘Every day on this platform, women write to me expressing concern about my appearance. They say I’m too thoughtful and look sick… One asked me why I’m “punishing my body” and most say “I hope you’re okay?”

‘This is a quick note to tell you that your worry is misplaced and expressing it is unhealthy. I am fit, well and, above all, very happy.

“In fact, I’m healthier than ever: I enjoy a disciplined routine and am motivated by clear goals, training for a world record endurance race that will hopefully raise a substantial amount of money for people in need.

‘Training for this challenge is NOT punishment, it is PROGRESS….’

Spencer said he never received any messages of concern about his appearance when he was “overweight” and a “problem drinker” while on Made In Chelsea.

He added: “Please don’t confuse me with pushing myself physically as being unhealthy… It’s not.” It’s exciting and, for me, it makes me feel alive and full of purpose.

‘Not once did I receive a single “concerned” message when I was a heavy problem drinker – I was overweight and drastically unhealthy. I wouldn’t have wanted it then and I certainly don’t want it now.

‘It’s really simple: don’t comment on anyone’s appearance. If someone looks different, there’s probably a reason for it.

‘My thing is that I found a healthy lifestyle.’

Several users sent their support to Spencer, writing: ‘I can’t understand why people would send messages like that?! You look healthy, but even if you don’t… it’s not appropriate.’

—Stronger for the people in the back. Why anyone would feel the need to comment on someone’s appearance is strange!’

‘Well done and well said!!! People only comment when they lose weight and feel it is okay to do so. You look fantastic.’

Bravo well said! Funny how most women said that and thought it would be more green-eyed men!’

Earlier on Tuesday, Spencer showed off his lithe frame while taking a dive on the ice.

The star shared a clip of himself kicking a sheet of ice onto the freezing water on his Instagram Stories.

Spencer could then be seen entering a pool before submerging her body into the water.

After putting his head under the water, he came back up and looked at the camera and declared, ‘Delicious!’

He then pointed the camera at his wife Vogue Williams, who could be seen milling around in their hotel room behind him.

It comes after it emerged Spencer “may have died” during the height of his “abusive drinking” habit.

He sometimes drank 10 pints or a bottle of whiskey a day when the problem was worst, and has credited his wife, Vogue, for helping him “break the habit”.

Speaking to Vogue on the Taboo Talk podcast, she said: “It’s not that I just feel like quitting drinking.”

“I could have lost you, I could have lost my job, I could have died… I don’t want to be overly dramatic, but that’s the way things were headed.”

The star admitted he sometimes went to bed drunk and believes his journey to stop binge drinking would have been “more difficult” if he hadn’t had Vogue.

He said: ‘One night when I was alone I grabbed a bottle of whiskey and struggled to get to bed. He was drunk. I remember waking up the next day and thinking, “I don’t need this in my life.”

“If I wasn’t married to someone who didn’t have a big relationship with alcohol, then my journey would have been more difficult.”

Spencer still drinks occasionally, but admitted he’s sober “most of the time.”

He said: ‘I feel very lucky to have found that level of balance. Before, having one glass would have turned into ten and then I would be out all night.

‘I’m sober most of the time now. I’ve gone from having a drinking problem on a daily basis to having a drink if I feel like it on a very irregular basis.

‘I no longer see it as a problem. I have great balance in my life.’
