He said The mirror‘I feel like part of the family again. My family has never been more proud of me and I’ve longed for that. When I went through that dark period in my life with alcohol… you can tell when your parents are disappointed.
‘I have lived with a lot of disappointment within my family. Love, but disappointment. What a shame that you are not developing the potential that we know you have. What a shame that you go out so often and don’t spend time thinking about who you could become.
“But now it’s just hugs of pride. My family is amazing, they’ve never thrown me out or left me out and we’ve always had a good relationship. Things are better now. I’ve been carrying a lot of shame around and it’s so nice to be free of it.”
She added that completing the challenge brought tears to her parents’ eyes and earned the respect of her brother James, who is married to Pippa Middleton.

The official confirmed: ‘For the official Guinness World Record title for the most marathon distances completed on sand in one month, I can confirm after checking your evidence that you have completed 30, that’s officially amazing. Congratulations!’
As the entire room applauded, Spencer joked, “Thank you so much. I was thinking it would be really awkward if he said, ‘You actually fell a little short.'”
“Is it fair to say this is the biggest challenge you’ve ever faced?” JK asked.
“Absolutely,” Spencer confirmed: “Physically, mentally, overall it was one of the best experiences of my life and I will always remember it and look back on it fondly.
“But it was tough, you know?”
Overwhelmed, he continued: “It’s crazy. To be honest, the whole time I was running, charities were a huge boost for me.
‘And, as I said before, the support and generosity shown throughout the challenge was completely overwhelming.
“Even with the messages on social media, I’ve never felt that level of support for anything in my life. So I can’t thank you enough.”
Spencer hopes the donations will keep coming in, adding: ‘You know, I see this as a very real thing – we just finished this, I’m hoping there’s a few more weeks of fundraising now.
‘I’m going to think of ways to continue raising money for these amazing causes and the great work that Global’s Make Some Noise does.
‘So if you haven’t donated yet, please consider doing so, all your money makes a huge difference to amazing families and children who really deserve the help, so please consider it.’
However, although he pushed his body to the limit and underwent an intense training regime for the incredible feat, Spencer is not done yet as he plans another world record.
Speaking exclusively to The Mail as she crossed the finish line, the TV personality told how, aside from her marriage to Vogue Williams and their three children, charity marathons were her greatest physical and mental achievements.
He explained: “If you exclude things like children and marrying the perfect woman, then yes, of course it’s a physical thing. Starting my business was obviously a big thing, but in terms of physical and mental achievements, yes, of course.
“This is one of the greatest feelings of my life, to have succeeded at this.”
However, Spencer is keen to add more marathons to his already impressive CV, although he doesn’t yet know exactly in what capacity.
He shared: ‘I will definitely try to break another world record, probably at some point. I’m 36 years old, so this has been amazing. I will definitely do more in this area.
“I don’t know what it will be like now, the idea of doing this came to me one night.”
He added of his initial idea for the 30-marathon event: “I was sitting there and suddenly I thought, boom, this is what I want! And we got down to business and did it. I haven’t had another moment like that yet, but I’d give it a couple of months.”
For now, however, she is content to enjoy her favorite foods and pamper herself at home.
She added that completing the challenge brought tears to her parents’ eyes and earned the respect of her brother James, who is married to Pippa Middleton (seen together).

During his marathons he ate a boiled goat’s head for dinner and has lost ten kilos.
On what he plans to do first, he said: ‘I’m going to go home, probably take a shower. I’m going to get takeaway with my brother-in-law on Thursday night. I can’t wait.
‘My favourite restaurant in London is Strakers and Dorian, but don’t tell Straker, because they’re next door to each other.
She added: “This has been a beautiful experience. It’s not something I want to recover from. I’m looking forward to moving on.”
