A bizarre video has emerged showing an angry Spectrum store employee and a customer confronting each other in a store after trying to return equipment he claimed was defective.
The explosion was captured by another person in the store, who shared a video of the incident on TikTok. She said the grandfather was outraged at not being able to return his equipment.
It’s unclear where exactly the video was filmed, but it shows the customer first physically kicked out of the store, then returning with a vengeance.
“I can just take you out of the store if you want, that’s totally fine,” the employee fumed, waving his hands in the air as the argument began.
The enraged Spectrum employee then threatened to call 911.
Undeterred, the customer – a man in shorts and a polo shirt – replied: “Do it then and let them take care of it!”
The irate Spectrum customer returned to the store after being kicked out with the equipment he was trying to return.
As he said this, the employee walked ahead of him to the product, picked it up and headed for the door.
The irate customer chased him and went outside where the employee slammed his router and cables and closed the door behind him.
“There you go, don’t go back!” » said the annoyed employee.
Furious, the customer returned, entered and found himself face to face with the employee.
Finally, another store employee intervened.
While the TikTok user called the customer “entitled,” others in the comments section were on his side.
The store employee had tried to stop him from entering after an argument inside turned violent.
The angry customer was trying to return equipment, according to others in the store.
“OG didn’t have it lol,” one said.
“I’m on grandpa’s side here, if you have a specter you’ll understand,” said another.
Others took to Reddit and commented on the incident.
“Lol, Spectrum is still telling customers over the phone to return their cable equipment to Spectrum stores.
“But storefronts no longer accept cable TV equipment. They only make cell phones now,” one said.
“Spectrum will just fire this guy and replace him with a drone,” said another.
Spectrum did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.
