Customers in Dallas, New York City and Boston have reported problems, along with Tampa residents who were devastated by Hurricane Milton overnight.
Downdetector, a site that monitors blackouts, shows that landlines have been affected, but some users have reported total blackouts.

Downdetecor’s websites show that Spectrum has been experiencing issues since Wednesday morning, but a flurry of outage reports were issued around 8:25 a.m. ET.
About 45 percent of users cited landline issues, 31 percent have total blackouts, and 24 percent of customers can’t get a signal.
