Only the youngest daughter of the Spanish royal couple, Infanta Sofía, 17, chose black on a blue tone for the concert held at the Príncipe Felipe Auditorium in Oviedo before the Princess of Asturias Awards ceremony.

The glamorous former journalist wore her shiny shoulder-length brunette hair with a classic blow-dry, tucking it behind her ears to reveal a pair of delicate silver and sapphire earrings.
Her smoky eye makeup completed her evening look, while a coat of dark red lipstick brightened her tanned complexion.
Princess Leonor, the future monarch who today received the title of Honorary Mayor of Oviedo, combined her mother’s elegance with a pale blue tulle skirt printed with flowers.

The Princess of Asturias Awards are presented annually in Oviedo, capital of the Principality of Asturias.
The awards aim to highlight, celebrate and promote “those scientific, cultural and humanistic values that form part of the universal heritage of humanity,” according to the official website.
Earlier today, Crown Princess Leonor of Spain received the title of Honorary Mayor of Oviedo.
The heir to the throne of Spain appeared very animated when receiving the honor from Mayor Alfredo Canteli at the Oviedo City Hall.

It comes after Princess Leonor of Spain appeared awkwardly ignored by several dignitaries during a reception to mark Spain’s National Day on October 14.
The Spanish royal looked elegant in her military uniform as she attended the ceremony in Madrid.
But while attendees enthusiastically shook hands with her parents, Queen Letizia and King Felipe, their eldest daughter seemed to feel slighted.

Luckily, the princess saw the funny side of the situation and seemed amused both times.
