Downdetector, a site that monitors online disruptions, shows that major travelers in cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas and Chicago are being affected.

Users submitted reports to Downdectector, with 59 percent citing outages on the website, 35 percent with the app, and five percent of customers unable to see flight status.

A customer shared a screenshot of the app on X while trying to book their flight, but received an error message.
