Madison LeCroy revealed that her husband, Brett Randle, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer around the same time as their first wedding anniversary.

The reality star revealed the news during Thursday’s episode of Southern Charm while sharing her fears about her health battle, which came in late 2023, a year after they exchanged vows during an intimate ceremony in Mexico.

‘I thought, how? “I’m finally happy,” the hairdresser, 34, said in a confessional interview. “It’s just terrifying.”

He proceeded to explain that Randle, 38, underwent surgery to remove a ‘three centimeter nodule’.

Madison LeCroy revealed that her husband, Brett Randle, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer around the same time as their first wedding anniversary.

“I feel like we can’t take a fucking break,” he told viewers.

During the episode, Randle detailed some of his post-surgical complications while explaining to his wife that he feels like he has a “stuck marble” when he swallows.

‘Well, no, we’ll fix you. I’ll kiss it and make it better,’ she told him with a worried look on her face after he noted she was planning to see a specialist.

She later admitted it’s been difficult talking about her husband’s cancer with her 12-year-old son Hudson, whom she shares with ex Josh Hughes.

“I told Hudson that Brett was sick, but I didn’t go into detail about what cancer can do to a person,” he said. “I try not to let Hudson see me emotional because I have to be strong for my family.”

Later, the television presenter confessed that ‘some days’ she just wants to ‘scream’ and that ‘anything’ can trigger her.

‘Whether it’s someone saying, “When are you going to have a child?”‘ he said. “We were just starting to plan, but that’s on hold for now.”

Previously, LeCroy told Us Weekly that it had been an “emotional year” for her family as they are still mourning the death of her father, Ted LeCroy.

“There are some obstacles along the way, but we got ahead,” he insisted.

Despite her husband’s battle with cancer, the reality star said married life has been “wonderful” and she is “super happy.”

In January 2024, she revealed that her father, Ted, had passed away with an emotional tribute on Instagram.

‘No matter where I am, your spirit will be by my side. “I know that no matter what happens, you will always be with me,” she captioned a black and white photo of them together on their wedding day.

She also called him her “greatest gift” and “forever superhero” before noting that his memory would propel her “forward every day.”
