Southern Charm alum Kathryn Dennis was seen sobbing and arguing with police officers in new video taken from her DUI arrest.
In videos obtained by TMZDennis, 32, was caught being handcuffed after undergoing several field sobriety tests before entering the police vehicle, where she argued with officers about the arrest.
She then burst into tears as officers took her dog out of the police car and begged them not to take her to the animal shelter.
Dennis was arrested for driving under the influence after being involved in a three-car collision Monday night.
TMZ previously reported that Bravo’s vet was hired by officers in Goose Creek, South Carolina, following the car crash.

The videos begin with Dennis, holding his dog in his arms, as he walks along the side of a road with the police officer.
She is then seen performing several field sobriety tests before heading to the police car and being handcuffed.
Once inside the car, he argued with the officer over the arrest and threatened to sue them for his dog.
“They are ruining my life and my children’s lives,” he says. “Thank you for nothing because you didn’t even do a field sobriety test to find out if you’re legal or not,” she said, even though she was seen doing several balance tests on the road.
“You didn’t take a blood alcohol test,” he said. “Maybe I don’t have the best balance in the world, but you sure didn’t confirm what you were doing.”
The officer then informed him that they were already at the police department and appeared to tell him that he would request a breathalyzer test.
“Go ahead, because I know what’s coming next,” Dennis replied. ‘I already know it. Like I’m not stupid, I already know what’s going on. Stupid shit. My ex is a criminal, as if he knows how this works.
‘It’s really a disaster for you to just take people and… what if they have children? Because that could really affect your children’s lives. It’s not my life, I don’t give a damn, it’s my children. I don’t deserve to be here at all. I’m sorry you think so,” she said.

Once the police officer went to remove her seat belt, she said, ‘Treating me like an animal, this is crazy.’ Forward. Bye bye. Get out of my face. Why are you so close to me? she asked before raising her voice and blurting out, ‘Why are you so close to me!? You’re disgusting! You’re disgusting! Don’t touch me like that.’
She snapped when she realized the police officer was taking her dog. ‘I love my dog! No,’ she moaned.
“I want my puppy,” she screamed before the police officer appeared to inform her that her dog was going to the animal shelter. ‘He can’t go to the animal shelter! What do you mean!? I will demand a lot from you! No, I love my dog, he is everything to me. This is a bullshit. I just want my dog to be well. Please let my puppy be okay, please.’

Afterwards, he asked the officer to read him his rights. ‘I want you to give me my rights, my fucking rights, and I want you to take my back to jail, do whatever you want with me, and let me stay in my little cell, all night, until at 9 in the morning , when I can take my dog, leave and then sue you. That’s what I want and otherwise I won’t get out of the car.’
In documents previously obtained by TMZA responding officer said Dennis appeared to be impaired and had “bright eyes and an odor of alcohol coming from his person.”

It comes six months after she was identified as a suspect in a hit-and-run at an elementary school, according to TMZ. She was never arrested for the alleged incident.
TMZ notes that this is Dennis’ first violation for driving under the influence.
In October 2023, Kathryn’s registered 2022 Ford SUV was reported to have been involved in a hit-and-run collision.
A “well-informed source” confirmed to People that Dennis was “involved” in the accident outside Whitesville Elementary School in Moncks Corner.
School Resource Officer Michelle Ward, who was directing traffic at the time, confirmed she was a victim of the hit-and-run by reposting the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office crash report on her Facebook account.
In the comments, Ward told her followers that she felt “sore, but okay” after the SUV “hurt my hand” and noted that “a parent took a photo of the tag (license plate).”

Ward had reported to Berkeley County dispatch that the vehicle “failed to stop” after hitting her just before 7:18 a.m., and that she was “transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.”

Dennis left Southern Charm after eight seasons last year.
