Craig Conover has sparked speculation that Paige DeSoto dumped him when she broke her silence over their shocking split.
The Summer House star finally addressed the breakup that shocked fans in a video statement that suggested Paige ended the relationship herself before the holidays.
A smiling Craig told his Instagram followers: “I think it’s finally time to talk to everyone… This has all been very, very unexpected, to say the least.” But I guess life has to do it, I have to start living again, whatever it may be. Whatever my new normal is, I have to start.”
‘Gratitude will get you through this, with time comes clarity, all the advice I’m trying to hear. But if. Just before the holidays, I was very surprised.
‘And that’s fine. It takes two people to have a relationship, and you can’t control other people, you can only control how you react to it, so.’
‘Remember to be nice to Paige and me and yourselves and all that good stuff. I’m still processing everything, which is normal, I mean, a three-year relationship, he’s your best friend who you talk to all day, every day and then he just leaves.

The Summer House star finally broke her silence about the split that shocked fans in a video statement that suggested Paige ended the breakup before the holidays.
‘One day I will be able to talk more about this, but right now I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind messages. It’s been really nice to read them and that’s life and I have to follow my own advice that I give when I go around and talk on these home shows “that no one is ever better off after a breakup.”
‘But I guess now, by practicing what I preach, believing it and having true faith in God, everything happens for a reason. But I love you all and I will see you all on my travels this January, we have a lot going on.’
According to Craig’s statement, fans felt the breakup was not mutual.
“Ugh…that’s NOT mutual,” one X user wrote.
“She basically blindsided him during the holidays. She also guided him for years. He never liked it. She was never going to move on him,” posted another.
“I don’t know, I feel bad,” wrote another. ‘I had a kind of tear. I think he loved her more than she loved him.
“I thought it was a mutual decision but it seems she dumped him right before the holidays and he was very surprised,” one posted.
