Southampton have been asked to remove the statue of Ted Bates from outside St Mary’s Stadium following the football child abuse scandal.

Southampton is in talks with the victims of ‘predatory pedophile’ Higgins and the taking down of the Bates statue is one of the ideas that have been put forward to the club.
