Defender Kyle Walker-Peters provided a magical moment to cheer Southampton fans on after the departure of striker Danny Ings.

The £30 million transfer from Ings to Aston Villa was announced just before kick-off on Wednesday night at an understated St Mary’s.

Ings scored 46 goals in 100 appearances for Southampton after switching from Liverpool in 2018.
