South Carolina head coach and NCAA championship winner Dawn Staley enjoyed a moment with 76ers legend Allen Iverson at the Wells Fargo Center.
On Sunday, the two Philadelphia legends were seen on the court before Game 4 of the first-round series between the New York Knicks and the Philadelphia 76ers began.
The 76ers welcomed Staley, who used to coach the local Temple University women’s basketball team, to lead the bell ringing ceremony before sitting courtside during the action.
Staley hugged Iverson before posing for a photo while holding a towel that said, “For the love of Philadelphia.”
Later in the game, Staley joined the Philadelphia crowd in picking off Knicks center Isaiah Hartenstein after picking up his fifth personal foul in the game’s third quarter.
