Sources claim King kicked Harry and Meghan from Frogmore Cottage after Duke’s made snipes at Camilla
King Charles reportedly decided to evict Harry and Meghan from Frogmore Cottage due to his son’s repeated attempts at Queen Consort Camilla.
The monarch on Tuesday advised the Sussexes to vacate the five-bedroom mansion on the Windsor estate – a move supported by his wife and the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The decision was apparently a difficult one for the king, especially since he was not keen on adding fuel to the fire of their ongoing quarrel.
But he is said to have reached a point where he believed Harry had “crossed a line” following claims made in their Netflix series and Prince’s bombshell memoir Spare.
The king is said to have been particularly outraged by allegations that Camilla was responsible for leaking stories to the media. The mirror reports.

Speaking to 60 Minutes’ Anderson Cooper to promote his book in January, Harry said Camilla’s willingness to engage in relations with the British press made her “dangerous” and that “it would leave bodies in the streets.”
He also referred to her as “the villain” in television interviews.
Reportedly, Charles began deportation proceedings on January 11 — the day after Spare was released — after reading a file of aides’ findings about details published in the book.
Sources told The Mirror that the allegations have caused irreparable damage to Harry’s relationship with his father and brother Prince William.
She added, “It was the last straw. Harry was well aware that Camilla would be a red line for his father and he crossed the line with blatant disdain anyway.
“The king felt beyond any doubt that it crossed a line – it was the ultimate act of disrespect.”
It’s clear that the king is particularly keen to sort out many of the nagging issues surrounding Harry, Meghan and Andrew before his coronation, which have been allowed to ‘drag’ for far too long.
It is understood that they were initially asked to quit when their lease was up for renewal next month, but were granted a stay of execution.
Discussing the decision to start the process, a source said: ‘It was felt it would be like taking a Band-Aid off. Painful, but once it’s done, it’s done.’
The latest twist in the Windsors’ ongoing war suggests further doubts about their appearance at the King’s coronation on May 6.
Meanwhile, the house has already been offered to Prince Andrew, who is reportedly resisting pressure to downsize the seven-bedroom Royal Lodge.
But his current home would have serious damp problems and needs a new roof, The sun reports.

The house has already been offered to Prince Andrew, who is reportedly resisting pressure to downsize the seven-bedroom Royal Lodge.
Royal Lodge is said to need millions of pounds worth of repairs, but Andrew is in danger of losing Charles’s hidden annual funding.
A source told the newspaper: “Millions were spent when Andrew moved in, but that was 20 years ago.
“There has been hardly any work going on for two decades and people are shocked when they come to visit.
“There’s a serious damp problem that needs to be addressed and it’s not cheap for a home that size. It also needs a new roof.
“Not only does Andrew not have the finances to get the house in order, it would be uninhabitable while the work is carried out.”
Andrew is currently reportedly paying £250 a week for a state-subsidized 30-room mansion complete with 98 acres of land and a swimming pool – and doesn’t want to leave it after 20 years.
But the Duke of York will lose £250,000 a year in funding from the king as part of a shake-up in private royal finances and has had to sell assets including a £19 million ski chalet to cover the cost of the settlement. the sex scandal case with Virginia Roberts Giuffre – a sex slave victim of Jeffrey Epstein.
Buckingham Palace yesterday still declined to comment on the decision to ask the Sussexes to pack up their remaining possessions from Frogmore Cottage for early summer.
It is clear that they were initially asked to quit when their lease was up for renewal next month, but were granted a stay of execution.
However, a spokesperson for the couple specifically confirmed this week that they had been ‘asked to leave their home at Frogmore Cottage’ – a sign of their shock and anger at the move.

There were also questions tonight about whether the Crown Estate, which leases Frogmore to the Sussexes, could ultimately owe the couple money.
Harry and Meghan were given use of Frogmore Cottage by Queen Elizabeth in 2018 amid their explosive spat with the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Originally five dilapidated staff residences, it was initially converted into one large house with a private garden using £2.4million of taxpayers’ money. The pair paid for everything but the basic equipment themselves.
But they only spent six months in the house before moving to North America, first to Canada and then California, where they bought an £11 million mansion in Montecito.
