Sorry PS4 players, Horizon Forbidden West’s expansion is only coming to PS5

You could have reached the end of Horizon Forbidden West if you turned to your local spectator and said, “I think that’s the end.” Every story thread seems to have been wrapped neatly in a robot-shaped bow.” I’m sorry to be the one to tell this to you, but Guerrilla Games has just announced an expansion. It’s not coming to PS4.
Horizon Forbidden west: Burning Shores will see Aloy continue her quest for a utopian world free from a Blight. But now, her journey is taking Aloy to LA. I’m sure this is not just a way for the narrative team to work out their frustrations with Hollywood producers who are dragging their feet on the Horizon Zero Dawn TV Series.
Below is the trailer.
The ground is very sparse with details about the Horizon Forbidden West expansion. According to the video description, Aloy is pursuing a sinister threat within the wilds of Los Angeles. It’s now a treacherous volcano archipelago.
“She “Will be traveling to dangerous new region south from the Tenakth Clan Lands, featuring an engaging storyline following where Horizon Forbidden West ends, new characters, adventures and more,” Mathijs de Jonge is the game director. a PlayStation blog post.
“[LA is] “An overgrown and fractured city that can easily be explored via the water or flying on the backs of a Sunwing,” de Jonge states. “A massive machine threat lurks in its shadows – a huge challenge that Aloy must overcome by using all of her skills and abilities. To achieve this grand vision technically and creatively, we’ve made the difficult decision to focus all our efforts on making an incredible experience exclusively for the PlayStation 5 console.”
The release date for Horizon Forbidden West, Burning shores is April 19, 2023.
