A student so dead to Sansa Stark that she worked as Sophie Turner's replacement for Game of Thrones – revealed that even Joe Jonas confused them.
With her long red hair and blue eyes, Laura Butler from County Laois, Ireland, was regularly mistaken for Sophie on the set – and even the actress herself said their visual similarities were "weird."
But the 22-year-old claims she never saw the parable until she met the actor herself – despite friends at the university who reported the similarities as Game of Thrones became more famous.
After registering with an agency for extra & # 39; s, Laura received a phone call inviting her to work as a stand-in for the last show series in October 2017.

She claims that her costume dimensions were so close to Sophie's that she even picked up extra work as her scene doubled – and is shown on the screen in episode 8 of the season & # 39; The Long Night & # 39 ;.
Cast and crew regularly held her in front of her counterpart, with some congratulating her on her recent engagement before they realized their mistake.
But it was only when Sophie revealed in an interview in June that Joe Jonas "tried to double kiss her body" that Laura realized that even he had confused the couple for each other.
Laura, from Laois in Ireland, said: & I absolutely consider it a compliment, it's such a good compliment.
Sophie worked as a stand-in for Sophie in the later seasons of the HBO show. She said she was mistaken for the actress by members of the audience
Laura (photo) said that Sophie and her got to know each other while working on the set, and that the actress was very friendly
& # 39; I suppose I see the parable on photos & # 39; s, but when I stand next to her or look directly at her, I don't see it.
& # 39; I think it's more the character than Sophie herself, if that makes sense. I'm not sure if it's the hair color. But she even said herself: "Oh, this is kind of weird".
& # 39; A few of my friends have said things to me at school. I had seen pictures of her, but I didn't think I looked like her then. I personally did not see it, but she did.
& # 39; I don't think I've ever seen it until I met her. But I don't think it really influenced me. We are clearly two different people who lead a very different life.

Both Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams were very shocked at how similar it looked to Sophie Laura. Pictured: the stand-in during a night out with Game of Thrones
& # 39; The first day I met her was her first day back on the set. It was only short, because there was a lot of work to do. It was a quick hello and said how strange it was because we looked alike.
& # 39; As we continued, we talked a bit more and I got to know her a little more. She was always very friendly and very kind and talkative to me.
& # 39; In the beginning it was fast hello and I think she was a bit in shock too.

& # 39; Many people who work behind the scenes have taken me twice and joked that I even walked like her.
& # 39; Maybe they were things I wouldn't pick up or notice in her, but other people noticed it in me. It was strange.
& # 39; There was another time I was on the set and Maisie Williams came in and looked at me and then looked at Sophie and was shocked how similar and equal we were.
& # 39; There were a few articles about Joe Jonas a while ago that Sophie & # 39; s had double-mistaken about Game of Thrones, but he was on the set several times.
& # 39; I casually said goodbye to him and that was of course for professional reasons. I think those articles were about me.
& # 39; She said how similar her double Game of Thrones was, which I assume was me.

Laura (pictured on a day out) said she appreciated her privacy more since she worked as a stand-in for Sophie, but said she was extremely grateful for the opportunity
& # 39; Then she said that one day Joe Jonas stopped me in front of her, which I thought was very funny because I only realized that when I read it.
& # 39; My first day on the set was also Sophie's first day back, and many people were like I hadn't seen you for a long time, and the breakfast tent we used was the same as the cast and production tent.
& # 39; Someone came by and said: & # 39; congratulations on your engagement & # 39; and I had something like & # 39; Sorry? & # 39 ;. They didn't know it. & # 39;
Laura claims that she is regularly asked if she knows she looks like Sophie and was even asked to pose for photos with fans during her vacation in Disneyland.
The similarities between Laura and Sophie have made the double consideration of acting.
But she claims she had a new appreciation for privacy after working as a double in Seville, Spain during the last season and being bombed for signatures by hopeful fans.
Laura said she didn't really see how similar she was to Sophie until she met her in person on the set

Laura, economics and sociology student, said: & I have been stopped a few times by strangers on the street.
& # 39; I was in Disneyland two years ago before I even worked on Game of Thrones and I was with some friends.
& # 39; I didn't pay much attention to anyone else, but they kept saying, "Laura, people are staring at you."
& # 39; We got off one of the roller coasters and there was a family and the father waited for me to get out to ask if I was her. I said I wasn't, but a few people took pictures of me.
& # 39; I just thought it was pretty funny and it didn't bother me at all.

& # 39; Even when we were filming in Seville, fans knew the cast was there, so a few people came over when I and the other stand-ins were going to get food because we all look so much like the cast.
& # 39; For that week (the attention) was so constant that I really feel sorry for the cast in a certain way. They clearly have a great life, but no privacy, so I can see how difficult it must be for them.
& # 39; If it is something, it is just a great compliment and has brought me incredible opportunities.
& # 39; It has changed my life in a certain way because I have been able to work on Game of Thrones for so long and have met such incredible and talented people who worked there and were even good friends with the other stand-ins. & # 39;
