Series 11 introduced the revamped Love Island’s first celebrity contestant, 33-year-old Joey Essex. The original series of Love Island, which aired from 2005 to 2006, featured only celebrity contestants.
ITV has already confirmed that Love Island: All Stars will return next year, with producers saying ex-Islanders are lining up to star and that some big names and fan favourites are likely to return.
