Sophie Monk got some dental work done this weekend and was left drooling after the procedure.

The 44-year-old shared several videos on Instagram Stories in which she appears going to get a filling.

First she sat in the dentist’s chair, wearing protective glasses, ready to face the drill and have a cavity fixed.

Sophie’s face was then partially paralysed by the local anaesthetic, and the blonde beauty struggled to control her expressions.

“Try smiling after a filling,” she wrote in the caption, and made several attempts to do so, but each time her mouth hung open in an awful way.

“I feel like my nose has gotten longer,” the TV presenter said in one clip, before attempting to whistle, something she said she was “normally good at.”

Sophie tried, but only managed to emit thin, flatulent hisses from her drooling mouth instead of producing a melody.

Although at first glance Sophie looks like the victim of plastic surgery gone wrong, the effects of local anesthesia are temporary and she will regain full use of her face within one to four hours on average.

Monk’s appearance has changed significantly over the years, reportedly as a result of non-surgical cosmetic treatments such as Botox and fillers.

Sophie, originally from the Gold Coast, Queensland, admitted to having had filler in her upper lip in the past, following a botched cyst removal.

“I had half my lip removed along with the cyst, and was advised to get filler in my upper lip to help balance it out,” she previously told Who magazine.

However, she regretted her decision, saying: “I should have said no to filler from the start, but I trusted the doctor.

‘I’m sick of people saying that I’ve had surgery all over the place just because of my lips.’

Although Sophie has admitted to having lip fillers, it has also been claimed that she has had rhinoplasty, something she denies.

There was previously speculation that she had gotten a breast augmentation, but the former Bachelorette insisted in 2014 that her chest was real.

In fact, she stated on 2DayFM that if she were to undergo surgery in that area it would be a breast reduction.

“I want a breast reduction, there’s a 32D and sometimes a DD,” she said at the time.

‘They get in my way when I’m doing sports, but the doctors told me to leave them alone. Women die from these things.’
