Sophie Guidolin all but confirms split from husband Dr Andrew Firgaira, unfollows him on Instagram

Fitness influencer Sophie Guidolin has all but confirmed her alleged split with her dentist husband Dr Andrew Firgaira just weeks after giving birth to a stillborn baby while on holiday in Europe.

Sophie, who tied the knot with Andrew just four months ago, has been quietly unfollowing his Instagram account for the past few days, erasing all evidence of him on her own feed.

Photos of Sophie, 33, and Andrew at their wedding have been removed, along with their engagement message and a photo announcing Sophie’s pregnancy at Christmas last year.

Rumors of the couple’s marriage had been circulating for months after fans noticed that the model had stopped posting pictures of Andrew on social media.

Late last month, Sophie added more fuel to the fire by uploading a cryptic Instagram post that alluded to heartbreak.

In the lengthy post, Sophie said she was going through a “difficult period” and stressed the importance of “human connection” despite her desire to “recharge her batteries on her own.”

She then alluded to her need for “closure” after a rough time, writing, “Forgiveness is key, but some things are unforgivable and closure is the choice.”

She also stressed the importance of being “consistent” when supporting another.

While Sophie has been silent on her husband’s whereabouts, his absence from her Instagram suggests they may be keeping something out of the public eye.

Sophie has been removing all evidence of Andrew from her social media accounts for the past few months.

Sophie announced her engagement to Andrew in June 2022, just over two years after divorcing Married At First Sight star Jake Edwards in May 2020.

The couple tied the knot in November before announcing they were expecting their first child together a month later.

Sophie, who has four children from a previous relationship, struggled with serious health problems during her fifth pregnancy.

In January, she told fans she had been diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness.

While recovering from the condition in hospital, Sophie shared a post lamenting how lonely she felt without Andrew by her side.

When asked by fans where her husband was, Sophie claimed he was abroad on a European holiday.

While Andrew was in Europe at the time, he has not verified Sophie’s claim that the trip was a vacation, and it is possible he was there on business.

He was accompanied on the trip by his two daughters from a previous relationship.

Sophie announced at the end of January that her fifth child, a girl named Pixie, had been stillborn.

“I can’t put my pain, sadness and despair into words with all my soul,” she wrote in an emotional Instagram post, revealing she’d had a C-section.

“I try to trust in God’s timing and I’ve always believed that the universe has my back and as confusing as this all feels, I’m trying to understand this sadness with my faith.

“I feel so guilty for my thoughts beforehand and I would do anything to feel that pain, over this harrowing experience. I don’t even have the words to write or understand this. Maybe some souls were always meant to be angels.’
