The Duchess of Edinburgh was photographed accompanying a young woman during a charity walk in Windsor.
Emily, 21, who has cerebral palsy, took part in The Long Walk as part of BBC Children in Need and The One Show’s fundraiser, The Challenge Squad.
Sophie, 59, a mother of two, dressed casually in skinny jeans and a turtleneck, bundling up with a winter jacket.
She completed the ensemble with a suitable choice of footwear, slipping on beige block-heeled boots for the outing.
Sophie wore her blonde locks in a low ponytail, tied at the nape of her neck with a large blue scrunchie.

After the long walk for BBC’s Children in Need, the Duchess was pictured hugging the 21-year-old.
The royal looked radiant and opted for a natural-looking makeup look, featuring a dewy foundation, rosy lips, pink blush and barely-there eyeshadow.
Meanwhile, Emily, 21, who was pictured using two canes as she took on the challenge, opted for a bright yellow top and jacket, teamed with black trousers and trainers.
The two women seemed to enjoy each other’s company as they interacted during the event and appeared to be enjoying a friendly chat as they walked.
After completing the walk, Sophie was pictured hugging Emily, who sat in a wheelchair after the Long Walk challenge.
The warm interaction comes days after the Duchess of Edinburgh was seen sharing a touching moment with a group of children at Sunday’s memorial service.
Sophie attended the Armistice service at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, where she once again demonstrated her motherly nature during a sweet conversation with a group of young people.
Royal fans praised her for the sweet display which saw Sophie get down on one knee to chat to a group of children and was captured on video.
In the clip, which was posted to TikTok by Greatest Hits Radio News, the royal is seen exercising her maternal instincts as she told a group of little ones to greet her as she departed in a helicopter.

The two women smiled and shook hands after completing the event, as the royal congratulated the 21-year-old on her achievement.
During the video, a woman, believed to be the children’s teacher, can be heard telling the children: ‘This is the lady who came in the helicopter!’
Sophie knelt down to be eye level with the young man and said, “I’m about to return in my helicopter. Will you greet the helicopter?
‘It’s going to take off in about five minutes, so you might see it rise into the sky! “So you’re going to make a big wave,” she told the young man, motioning for them to wave at her.
Enamored by the royal mother, the group of children, who looked to be between three and five years old, responded with a lively ‘yes!’
The group of young people appeared in royal blue anoraks and high-visibility vests for the Sunday service, where they chatted with royalty.
After seeing the tender moment, royal fans flocked to the comments to praise the duchess.
One wrote: “Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh is an honor for the royal family,” while another described her as “such a natural and down-to-earth person.”
“Dear lady who connects warmly with children and adults,” wrote a third.

Sophie was recently described by a royal fan as a “lovable lady who connects warmly with children and adults”, and her caring side was on show again on Tuesday.
Another wrote: ‘I think this is the first time I’ve heard his voice! She sounds a bit like Catherine, Princess of Wales when she speaks. I love this! Thanks for sharing!’
Sophie, mother of Lady Louise Windsor, 21, and James, Earl of Wessex, 16, was praised for her emotional poetry reading on Sunday.
During the service, the Duchess gave a solemn but heartfelt reading of The Fallen, written by the late 19th century poet Laurence Binyon.
Alongside Sophie, thousands of veterans, serving personnel and members of the public gathered at the Armed Forces Memorial base on the day to pay their respects to “those who have served and sacrificed for the country”.
The National Memorial Arboretum was opened by the late Queen Elizabeth II in 2007 and is designed in such a way that at exactly 11:00 a.m. on November 11, a ray of light falls on the bronze crown in the center.
