The Duchess of Edinburgh was pictured showing off her caring side as she visited a hospital in Yorkshire today.
Sophie, 59, was pictured meeting two-year-old patient Astrid Walker during an engagement at the pediatric neuroscience department at Leeds Children’s Hospital.
She was also pictured meeting patient Brayden McGibbon, 13, and VR gaming specialist Lucy Dove, who was demonstrating Virtual Reality Distraction Therapy (VRDT), four-month-old Grace Milligan and James Sinnett .
This mother of two, who has some 70 sponsorships, is known for her interest and work with young people and children in need of additional care.

The dress had a V-neck with small matching fabric covered buttons to take it to the height she wanted, and three-quarter length sleeves.
Sophie paired the garment with light blue pointy pumps with a medium stiletto heel, matching the color of her shoes to the bottom of her dress.
Meanwhile, her blonde locks were casually pulled back into a slight side part, then tied into a low ponytail.
She kept her jewelry low-key and, true to the theme of the outfit, wore blue earrings made from gemstones cut into the shape of flowers.
Her makeup was light, highlighting her flawless complexion, and she wore peach blush, a light brown smoky eye and natural pink lips.
Sophie’s visit to the hospital today follows another youth-focused engagement last week.
She and her husband Prince Edward, 60, attended the All England Open Badminton Championships together.
